Temple Strategy is a boutique advisory firm specializing in due diligence and value creation for technology businesses. We support investors and acquirers through high-conviction, insight-driven evaluations, from pre-investment diligence to post-close value creation.

We work across growth equity, middle-market private equity, and large-cap buyouts. We do not typically take on early-stage, minority-stake venture diligence.

Temple Strategy provides high-trust advisory services across the investment lifecycle, from pre-investment diligence through post-close execution. We focus on product-led businesses where technical depth and strategic clarity are central to long-term value creation.
We conduct independent, founder-aware assessments designed to identify core strengths, risks, and levers for improvement. ​Philip Crandall
Managing Director
Philip Crandall is the Managing Director of Temple Strategy. He brings a rate blend of operating, investing, and strategic experience to every engagement.
​
Before founding Temple Strategy, Philip served as a senior product executive in high-growth technology companies, including as VP of Product at Rokt and COO at Cashrewards. He has led teams across product development, go-to-market, data science, and commercial strategy.
Early in his career, Philip worked at Bain & Company, where he advised major corporations on product strategy, organizational strategy, and growth levers. His work there laid the foundation for his analytical rigor and high standards.

Philip believes that technology diligence should be product-first, insight-rich, and execution-aware. He created Temple Strategy to serve investors who agree.
